The Evangelical Heritage is as relevant today as it was when it was first published in 1973, in fact maybe even more so. In this book Ramm approaches the question of the identity of Evangelical theology against a long and historical backdrop. This was his way of resisting the temptation to define Evangelical theology by contrasting it to what it opposed. Ramm in this book endeavours to preserve the Evangelical heritage of Biblical theology.
