This work provides an in-depth study of the Epistle to the Hebrews without being overly technical by dividing the book into three sections: Doctrinal Discussion, Practical Exhortations, and Personal Instructions. Kent offers his own literal translation in order to limit interpretation to the commentary sections. His desire in the writing the book was because that the knowledge of the Book of Hebrews is so little understand. He goes well beyond the well-known "heroes of the faith" passages into a discovery of the grand argument of the book and its stirring challenge to believers to "go out to Him outside the camp" need to be recognised and heeded.
