The late William Rodgers was well known and greatly appreciated by the older generation of the Lord’s people. Many were profited by his wide-ranging, penetrating, and balanced understanding of the Word of God through an oral teaching ministry in the U.K., U.S.A. and Canada. His ministry reached an even wider audience through the many articles he contributed to several Christian magazines.
This book makes available in a more permanent form some of this written ministry. The articles are divided into seven sections. Three of these treat Old Testament books and themes, drawing lessons from the lives of some of the Kings of Israel and Judah, a selection of the Psalms, and miscellaneous subjects from Genesis, the two Books of Samuel, and 1 Chronicles. Four of the sections provide notes on the New Testament Epistles of 1 Corinthians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Hebrews, and 1 & 2 Peter. From this, the range of help offered can be gathered.
