Genesis in the Light of the New Testament by F W Grant and published by Classics.

In seeking to develop, which is the author’s purpose, the truths of the New Testament from the history of the Old, it is the typical meaning with which we have to do. The divine glory, as seen in Moses’ face, was veiled to the people addressed; for us, the veil is done away in Christ. The words of the apostle with reference to Israel’s history, it can scarcely be doubted, apply no less to that which was but prefatory to theirs – “Now, all these things happened unto them for examples [lit, types]; and are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are.”

In this book F. W. Grant traces New Testament principles as discovered in “seed” form in the book of beginnings. One of the main threads of thought running through the book being “that which is natural, and afterward that which is spiritual.” We can see New Testament truths in many ways, including creation, government, named characters and through it all God working out His own purpose and grace.
