Dr. Orr’s messages, were initially preached at a world-impacting conference, “Full Surrender” in 1951 and since its publication it has blessed and influenced Christians all over the world. Under God, it resulted in a great spiritual awakening among two million Evangelical Christians in Brazil and in a matter of a few week over 10,000 Portuguese copies and an edition was published in Afrikaans as a result of the author's tour of High Schools, Colleges and Universities in South Africa.
The author writes “This is individual revival. Multiply it in faith, and there develops congregational revival, community revival, national revival and worldwide revival of Christians, with resultant soul-winning and missionary endeavour. There is a price to pay, but the reward is far greater.”
