Over the decades there have been many volumes dealing with those related subjects of Evangelism and Revival. However there are not many books which so concisely and thoroughly, or there a few volumes in such a short space trumpets forth more effectively the challenge to heart-renewing on the part of individual and to flaming zeal in the Church.
The author stresses a subject that many other writers have overlooked which that revival, like regeneration, is first and foremost an affair of the individual heart. The pages of this book will provide some thought provoking and uncomfortable moment who talk about revival in a general fashion, but they have not realized that the place of the commencement is in their own hearts and the hearts of other Christians like them.
So the desire of the author is that many readers will catch fire and maintain the spiritual glow in all their service for God.
