Edited by Allan Harman, Henry is best known for his commentary on the whole Bible, making his other expository and theological work much sought after. This volume existed only as a copy of Henry's own hand- written notes of 1691 - 2. Harman has endeavoured to "filled in the gaps" in the shorthand as well as adding footnotes to comments which are now obscure to the 21st century believer, and has translated the Greek, Hebrew and Latin notes. Henry's delightful, clear style is still very much in evident throughout the text and provides succinct memorable quotation on this material.
