The Baptist pioneers of the 1600s are almost entirely forgotten by our generation, but to them we owe the great confessional standards which are the doctrinal foundations of many churches today. Kiffin, Knollys and Keach were three of the Calvinistic Baptists who laboured to establish Baptist church order and who did much to produce the First (1644) and Second (1689) London Confessions of Faith.
This brief account of their lives deserves a wide reading among the people of God.
