The Gospel of John, An Exposition - CCS by Arno C Gaebelein and published by Classics.
The Gospel of John by Dr Arno C Gaebelein is a complete analytical exposition of this book. In his introduction the author discusses the authorship of the book with the intent to “to defeat of the critics.” He then considers the purpose of the Gospel, pointing out John's own testimony in the Twentieth Chapter: “That ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believing ye might have life through His Name.” Thus the twofold purpose of the Fourth is given by the Apostle John himself, that Christ is God the Son and the Life he gives to all who believe.
This twofold purpose is constantly kept in view through Dr Gaebelein’s masterly verse by verse exposition. Chapter references have been added in the page headings making this edition of greater usefulness to the Bible student.
