This Book which is based on the biblical Book of Daniel traces the story of Daniel and his three friends who where taken into exile with him. We read of their faithfulness to the Lord in very dangerous situations, how they would rather die than be unfaithful to the Lord who called them – they were faithful even in the sight of fiery pit and the lion’s den. It speaks of the “writing on the wall”, the defiance of Nebuchadnezzer and Daniel dreams foretelling the future of world history and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
While this book was originally written for teenagers or young adults it would prove invaluable to Sunday School teachers, leaders of Bible Study groups or anyone seeking to understand both the Biblical and historical account how the Lord used Daniel, to demonstrate that it is not the kings or rulers of the world who is in control, but the Lord God Himself.
