In the Book of Revelation, Jesus Christ is represented as Prophet, Priest, and King, while the saints are represented in their corporeal capacity. Each will rise from the dead, and as Jesus Christ was the faithful Witness, we are to be faithful witnesses. The lampstand must reflect the light of Jesus Christ.
As He rose out from among the dead, we too shall rise out from among the dead. As He is the Ruler, we are constituted a kingdom. We are heirs of the kingdom and it is to these heirs that the Letters to the Churches are addressed.
