This book is an Exegetical Work on the Five Points of Calvinism. This is a masterful defence of the doctrines of sovereign grace by which Gill refuted the popular Arminian writings of his day.
In the book, Gill explains the passages of scripture used by those in favour of the universal scheme, that is Arminian belief of salvation and against the Calvinistic scheme of salvation.
