"Christian Consistency", authored by Rev. E. Mannering was first printed c1850 by the Presbyterian Board of Publications. The author desires to remind us of the connection between experimental and practical religion with special reference to the welfare of young Christians.

"The Formation of Character", authored by B. M. Palmer, is made up of lectures first printed by the Religious Book Depository in 1899.
